Exhibitions

Villa Grün, Dillenburg/Germany

In 2009 Wolfgang Fey was offered to present his craft work in an exclusive exhibition in his home town Dillenburg, in the Villa Grün. Many visitors, even from other countries, came to marvel at Wolfgang's numerous exhibits like saddles, tack, belts, bags, albums, cases, and furnishing accessories as well as displays with ancient and modern leather tools. Visitors were also able to touch and feel different rawhides that were presented in a wooden coffer. In the afternoon the World Leather Debut winner demonstrated his handicraft and answered questions to everyone interested.

The Art of the Saddlemaker, Colorado

In late summer 2007, Wolfgang Fey was invited to present one of his saddles in the exhibition The Art of the Saddlemaker. This is how the saddle shown here was created in a collegial collaboration between Fritz Riedl and Wolfgang Fey.

This showpiece, a classic 58' Wade saddle with a tree by New Zealand treemaker Warren Wright, was in the Hall of Champions at the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy in Colorado Springs, Colorado/USA for six weeks to see. (See also here.)
